my new pair of old looking shoes

Happily bought a new pair of shoes from cineleisure's Leftfoot.It was a display set..i didnt think further n paid for it as i liked the design n it comes with 30% discount.
It was a dissapointment after i got home,i could see the difference between the display (left side) n the one that was kept in the box..
the left side looked kinda dirty n older looking as compared to the right side. haiz n i couldnt find the receipt..only the charge slip..
Is that the price for being too trusting n buying from a shop that does not have adequte lighting for customers to check the purchase??
(Bought my shoes in the evening, those who has been to the shop should understand this point about their lighting)
Or i should not have even bought a display set in the 1st place?
